COVID-19 Preparedness Plan Highlights for New Prague Ice Arena

  • If feeling sick...stay home.

  • Wash your hands!

  • Masks are required by ALL! – Players, Coaches, Parents, etc.

  • No drinking fountains at this time! – Players, bring your own water bottle or two!

  • Maintain 6-foot social distancing! – Stay apart in the lobby and within reason on the ice.

Spectators Update:

  •      Games: Two spectators per player (this INCLUDES siblings/small children).
    • Although MN Hockey’s phase 5 does allow for two spectators and has an exception for young children, it also states that if an arena or MDH guidelines are stricter, teams must adhere to the arena/MDH policy.  Unfortunately, at this time, the New Prague Area Community Center does not allow for this exception

  • No food or drinks for spectators.   All spectators will be required to wear a facial covering and maintain proper social distance guidelines.

  • Practices:  although it is not recommended for Squirts/10U and up, spectators are allowed for practices but are limited to one per player

  • Arrive no sooner than 10 minutes prior to your ice time!  Goalies can enter 15 minutes before ice time.

  • Leave the arena within 10 minutes after your ice time ends!

  • Coaches/players to encourage social distancing guidelines are being met!

  • Please follow the signage for the entry and exit points into and out of the Arena!

  • Bags: Small drawstring bags or small backpacks may be utilized to help carry in smaller items and store personal belongings (medications, phones, keys, etc.). No equipment bags will be allowed in facilities with the exception of goalies.

  • Players need to arrive fully dressed (exception helmet and skates and goalies can come half dressed).

  • Goalies need to come as dressed as they can and finish putting their pads/skates on in the rink, if needed
