Mite/8U Placements

A few notes from the Hockey Development Committee (HDC) and Mite Coordinator regarding the upcoming 2020 Mite/8U Placements

  • All skaters need to arrive at and leave the arena fully dressed except for skates and helmet.  Large hockey bags are currently not allowed in the arena either.
  • All players are required to wear a facemask when not on the ice and maintain proper social distancing.
  • Players will be allowed to enter the arena no more than 15 minutes prior to their session.
  • One (1) parent per player is allowed in the arena, but must be seated in the bleachers, and wear a face mask.
  • Players should wear a plain black or white jersey, preferably without names or numbers, and NP colored socks for all 4 days of evaluations.  If you don’t have a black or white jersey, we will have some available to borrow when you check-in.
  • Players will be issued a numbered pinnie to keep for the 4 days of evaluations.  It will need to be turned in at the end of day 4.
  • An email for which session your player should attend on Days 2, 3, and 4 will be communicated the night before via email and NPHA website and shown by pinnie number.  Players need to be available to skate in all of the sessions.
  • We understand that not everyone was able to attend this year’s preseason clinic, and in an effort to be completely transparent, attached is the Mite/8U Placement plan for Days 1 and 2.
