2026-2027 Tournaments
Tournament weekends are an exciting part of the hockey season! Below is important information for families as teams prepare for the 2026–2027 season.
🏒 Four Tournaments Included
Every NPHA team has four scheduled tournaments included as part of player registration fees. Families do not need to pay an additional team entry fee for these four tournaments.
Tournament locations and dates vary by team and level. Some tournaments may require overnight travel and hotel accommodations, which are the responsibility of each family.
⚠️ Tournament Schedules Are Subject to Change
Tournament registrations are planned in advance based on projected team levels.
After tryouts and evaluations are complete, the HDC will finalize team placement and determine the appropriate competitive level for each team.
If a team's level changes following tryouts, its tournament schedule may need to change as well.
This is done to ensure teams are participating in tournaments that provide an appropriate and competitive experience for our players. Because of this, families should consider tournament dates and locations tentative until final teams and levels have been confirmed.
📅 Final Tournament Information
Once teams are finalized, tournament information will be communicated to families and added to team schedules in Crossbar.
Team Managers will also communicate tournament-specific details throughout the season, including:
- Tournament schedules and game times
- Hotel information and room blocks, when applicable
- Check-in or tournament requirements
- Additional team-specific information
Planning Ahead
We know tournament weekends require families to plan ahead. NPHA will communicate changes and finalized information as quickly as possible following tryouts.
