Open Volunteer Opportunities

The Recruitment Coordinator supports the continued growth of the Association by developing and promoting initiatives that introduce new players and families to hockey. This position works collaboratively with the Communications Director, Board Members, schools, community organizations, and volunteers to increase awareness of the Association and encourage participation. The Recruitment Coordinator helps showcase the value of being part of the New Prague Hockey Association while strengthening future membership.

• Develop and coordinate player recruitment initiatives.
• Assist with community outreach and promotional events.
• Build relationships with schools and community organizations.
• Promote introductory hockey opportunities and recruitment programs.
• Collaborate with the Communications Director on recruitment campaigns.
• Recommend strategies to increase Association membership.
• Provide recruitment updates and recommendations as requested.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Board.

The Sponsorship Coordinator serves as the Association's primary liaison in supporting the Arena Board and Second Sheet Committee throughout the Rink 2 Campaign. This position assists with developing community partnerships, coordinating sponsorship and fundraising opportunities, and building relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community members to help advance the campaign. The Sponsorship Coordinator should possess strong communication and relationship-building skills, a passion for growing the New Prague community, and a commitment to creating opportunities that support the future of the New Prague Hockey Association.

• Assist the Arena Board and Second Sheet Committee with sponsorship and fundraising initiatives related to the Rink 2 Campaign.
• Support outreach efforts by building and maintaining relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community leaders.
• Help identify and cultivate new sponsorship and partnership opportunities.
• Assist with community engagement and promotional efforts supporting the Rink 2 Campaign.
• Work collaboratively with the Secretary, Arena Board, Second Sheet Committee, and Board of Directors.
• Recommend ideas and opportunities that strengthen community partnerships and support the success of the Rink 2 Campaign.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Board.
