Manager Registration

Thank you for your interest in the Team Manager position! The New Prague Hockey Association greatly appreciates the efforts of all of our volunteers. Without volunteers, our hockey program could not function.  

The Team Manager position is a fun and rewarding way to be involved with team communication, game coordination, and team activities. This position fulfills volunteer (DIBS hours) after a completed season.

Do I need to complete any requirements to become a Team Manager?

Yes, you will need to complete Safe Sport Training and a background check before participating in any team activities

As a Team Manager, can I participate on the ice during practices or sit on the bench during games? 

No, insurance does not cover Team managers to participate on the ice during practice and only rostered individuals (players, head coach and assistant coaches) can be on the bench during games.

I am new to hockey, can I be a Team Manager?

Yes! Training is available to Team Managers with any or no experience.
